The B-29 is an American made plane.  First put into action during 1944, the B-29 has pressurized cabins for high altitude flying.  The Superfortress is the only plane to drop atomic weapons during wartime.  In August 1945, the Enola Gay and Bock’s Car dropped a single bomb each on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, bringing an end to World War II.  The B-29 was replaced by an upgrade, re-numbered B-50, also called Superfortress.
