The world’s first supersonic bomber. The Convair B-58 was a United States jet plane with solid swept-back wings, also called delta-style. The B-58 also had a disposable weapons and fuel pod under the body. Being able to drop the pod allowed the Hustler to have a slimmer body and make a quicker retreat. For a bomber, the Hustler was
incredibly easy to fly and manuoever. The B-58 could go from 10 degrees down to 23 degrees up in just 1.5 seconds. The amazing versatile plane was only deployed from 1960 to 1970, with 116 units built.
