Convair F-106A Delta Dart

The F-106 began as an update of the F-102, however the design was extensively re-done.  The delta-style wing is the same, and that’s about it.  The prototype held the speed record in 1957, at 1,525 mph.  The Delta Dart was in service from 1959 to 1988.
