The Goose was an amphibious plane used by the United States military from 1939 to 1945, but is still used by some Carribean airlines. The Navy designated it JRF and the Army, OA-9. During World War II the Goose was used as a transport plane, search-and-rescue plane, surveyor, and antisubmarine bomber among other things.
