Most famous (or infamous) for dropping Agent Orange in Vietnam. The C-123 was first designed by Chase Aircraft, who was bought out by Kaiser-Frazer, then the design was given to Fairchild. Used for small airstrips close to the front and easy to maintain, the Provider could carry 15,000 pounds of cargo, 60 troops or 50 wounded on litters.
