Brewster Buffalo. Royal Air Force Fighter. Series C, Number Forty-Four. Among the first American fighting planes used by the R.A.F. was this Brewster “Buffalo”. A fast-handling fighter with a terrific rate of climb, the “Buffalo” has made a good record in action. Carrying six machine guns this ship does 330 m.p.h. A 1500 h.p. Wright Cyclone furnishes the power. Many of these ships are being used to combat Nazi raiders. Co-operation of Flying and Popular Aviation This is one of a series of fifty pictures of Modern Airplanes packed with WINGS Cigarettes
