Personal Cabin Pressure Altitude Monitor
The Cabin Pressure Monitor developed by Jan Zysko received NASA's
Commercial and Government Invention of the Year Awards for 2003.

- Its small compact size (1" x 2.5" x 5") and low weight ( < 5.8 oz) provide portability
- The device serves as a backup monitoring system on pressurized aircraft and indicates when supplemental oxygen is needed on nonpressurized aircraft
- The altitude alert function can be used to help maintain cross-country altitude or a flight pattern altitude. It may also be used by those who need hypoxia warnings at altitudes lower than FAA regulations for oxygen use.
- The high-impact housing makes for a rugged device.
- The device is user programmable for Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Parts 91 and 121/135 operations.
- Temperature compensation ensures accurate readings over a wide temperature range.
- Simultaneous audio, vibratory, and visual alarms are easily detected.
